Project 4 - Conspicuous

This is a preview of last week's assignment. I haven't been able to scan the actual black and white prints yet, so this is a digital picture I took along with the film ones.

My original plan was to capture the word "hidden" by putting a flower in dirt, puddles, etc. to show how beauty can be hidden in the last place you would expect. But what I found was that no matter what I did, the flower stood out. I couldn't hide it. So I decided to switch it to show just that. No matter how much you try to hide something good or beautiful, it is always found.
